Elton John and Leon Russell

Georgia attended her first Elton John concert in NYC this week! On our way back from Rhode Island, we stopped in NY to attend the concert for the release of Elton's new CD with Leon Russell. Georgia rocked out for sure! Daddy is making her into an Elton groupie already. Mommy only wishes there were photos of her dancing around to the Bitch is Back with the big belly. Ha!

Rhode Island

Georgia and Mommy spent over a week in Rhode Island with Nana and BB! GA gave her Rhode Island Nana many chances to see the belly move. She was super active! Nana was very sweet and threw us a baby shower! It was great getting to see all the ladies and spend time with family. Georgia received adorable presents. It made Mommy all the more excited to meet the little girl.

Mommy loves getting to see Rhode Island during the fall. The leaves are beautiful and seeing the ocean while wearing a sweater is the BEST.

Middle Name

We told Georgia's Rhode Island grandmother our new middle name choice, so now we can make it "official" on the web. Her name will be Georgia Marie. Her paternal grandmother's middle name is Marie as is her maternal great grandmother. Miss Georgia has a lot to live up to with all the great people she is named after.

Third Trimester!!

We are now in the third trimester! Three more months till Georgia is paroled (as her daddy says). I keep telling her that while I can't wait to see her, she needs to stay in there until after Christmas.

We're On Our Own!

We got the word from HGTV today. Finally found out that we weren't chosen for Real Estate Intervention. Darn it! Now we are on our own with getting ready for baby while keeping up the staging aspect of the condo. We were told that we weren't picked because our condo doesn't have enough for the host, Sabrina Soto, to do. This may be the first time in my life that I wish I were a slob!

The crib was delivered yesterday along with the changing table/dresser. We are getting there!

Segway

Anyone else find it amusing (albeit tragic) that the owner of Segway died...on a Segway? My mom said that she feels validated. I believer her other words were, "well, at least I lived through my Segway accident". How true.

I certainly see how my mother feels validated now that there are reports all over the internet and news channels about how unsafe Segways are. But, we already knew that, didn't we?

We changed our minds!

Georgia's middle name will NOT be Christine. We figured out that her name would be very similar to a family member whom I choose to have nothing to do with. The name felt cursed. We have picked out a new middle name, but need to tell a few people in person before we blurt it out on the blog.
