About three weeks ago, I had my 5th (!!) sonogram. I had one the week prior which my mother and Bill attended. We were due to find out the baby's sex and to do lots of measurements. Unfortunately, the little one was hunkered way down low in the placenta and was hunched over, not allowing the tech to do her job. I went back a week later and GA wasn't much better, but enough to where they could get what they needed. I was alone at this sonogram as I had just had the one the week prior. I wish I hadn't been alone as GA did something extremely cute. At one point during the hour plus long appointment, Georgia was opening and closing her mouth over and over while yanking on her umbilical cord. It was as if she was saying "send the food down, Mommy, I'm hungry!" Too cute for words!!!
Last night, Georgia did something else pretty darn adorable. I was on the couch watching some trashy tv while my mother was getting ready for bed. Georgia started kicking, so I called my mom. My mom doesn't move very fast these days and in the time it took her to come over to feel my belly, Georgia stopped moving around. My mom still sat down, put her hands on my belly and started talking to GA. She was telling her in her "Nana voice" that her Nana was there and wanted to feel her kick. Well, what do you know. Instantly, little Georgia went wild in my belly. I don't think she has ever kicked so much before! She went crazy for her Nana's voice! So much so that it was practically tickling me and I started laughing. I couldn't believe how she responded to her Nana Matt's voice. It was amazing!
It appears my little girl already has quite the personality!
